This altered book page is going to be to create pattern using a SIMPLE stamp that we have carved ourselves. Please check out the video below to see how you can draw out, carve, and then print from your stamp to make really cool designs from a simple stamp!

Follow along as I teach you how to use colored pencils to blend and make any color you need for your photorealism image.
We are beginning our first production assignment this week. We will be looking at the artist Audrey Flack and be creating our own photorealistic recreations of her work using a grid technique. This project will review using a grid to create accurate proportions as well as using color blending to match colors and values.
For rhythm, we will be creating an Op Art Line design across a 2-page spread in our visual journal. Check out the simple directions in the file below and follow along with my demo video!
