Option #5: Making a simple sketchbook
Option #6: Patterned Pop Up Photograph
Use a photograph that YOU have taken, print it out, and make it POP UP with these instructions!! Post your final image to your blog. (you may want to show a second photo at an angle of how it's popping up.) This can be in black and white, or color. You could also digitally manipulate the photograph first using the Pixlr App.
Option #7: Shadow Drawing
Take an object, and put it under a light source on a piece of paper. (indoors or sun for outdoors) Use your imagination and then turn that shadow into a drawing. Add additional details if needed! Photograph this (with original object, and post it to your blog.
Option #8: mark-Making with Pen
Carefully read the task below and complete it in your sketchbook or other paper. Post to your blog when you are complete.
Option #9: Iain Macarthur inspired
Research British artist, Iain Macarthur and create a small portrait inspired by his work. This can be in your sketchbook or another small sheet of paper.
Option #4: Multiple views Object Drawing
Find something interesting around your house and draw at least six to nine various views of the object, cropped in so that there is little to no negative space showing. You can use whatever media that is convenient however, you must include VALUE! Below are some examples and the media varies from pencil and charcoal to watercolor and pen and ink. Please let me know if you have questions and be sure to post your final result onto the "D&P2 My Art" page on the blog.
Option #3: Funko Pop Yourself
Funko Inc. is an American company that manufactures licensed pop culture collectibles, best known for its licensed vinyl figurines and bobbleheads. You've seen these around! There are all sorts of pop culture and historical figures created. Did you know that famous artists were made into Funko Pop Characters?
In this option, you can either Funko pop yourself, or an artist who is alive now, creating art. (if you are creating a character based on an artist, be sure to include a photo and name of the artist you are creating along with the Funko pop drawing.) If you Funko pop yourself, be sure to add accessories of things that describe who you are. Be sure to post this to your blog on the "D&P1/ My Art" page. You may want to copy the character blanks below to get you started:
