As you finish your 10 quality prints, you will lay them out and critique the prints from the best to the worst. Then do the following to each of these categories:

Step 1: Arrange your cut out cardboard elements in an interesting way. Be sure to have one larger object that acts as your focal point.
Step 2. glue all your layers down with Elmers glue. Step 3. cover over your collograph print with aluminum foil. Smooth out so that all ridges are embossed. Step 4. cover with markers (see demo) Step 5. Print.....(see demo!)
Part 1: Collagraph Crayon Prints
This assignment is something you can do at home using simple materials. We are going to be making a variation of a Collagraph print. A Collagraph is a basic method of printmaking using a board with collage materials glued onto it to form a relief surface with a variety of textures.
The image below was created by an 8th grade student using layered cardboard, then inked up and printed.
This artist, Bonnie Murray, created a collaged block with wallpaper, illustration board, and textured paper. She then inked up the block and hand-printed onto paper.
