funko Pop yourself!
In this option, you can either Funko pop yourself, or an artist who is alive now, creating art. (if you are creating a character based on an artist, be sure to include a photo and name of the artist you are creating along with the Funko pop drawing.)
If you Funko pop yourself, be sure to add accessories of things that describe who you are.
Be sure to post this to your blog on the "VA Comp/ My Art" page.

Other fun ways to pump up your art practice!
#1: James Brunt Inspired (also check out Andy Goldsworthy)
Mandalas are from the ancient Buddhist and Hindu traditions of creating circles all balanced around a central point. They were used to represent unity in the universe and were very meditative. In modern society, they are still used for meditation and relaxation. The act of making a mandala is very meditative and relaxing.
For this assignment, you will create your own mandala from natural materials and photograph it. Be sure to photograph it from multiple angles to get the best composition. Beware of too much negative space/ distracting backgrounds.
Andy Goldsworthy Option
You may be more inspired by Goldsworthy, but again, make your creation and document it with lots of photographs.
