- 1. Take a few moments to view the "sustained investigation" section of the sample portfolio from the link above. This sustained investigation or concentration has a wow factor where the artist has really thought outside the box on how he is presenting his ideas. think about how you can add that wow factor to your remaining concentration pieces. Could you think of ways to put together images you have already done to present them in a new way to the AP readers? Take a few minutes to jot down these ideas.
- 2. Next, go to this link on the AP studio art digital submission. https://apstudent.collegeboard.org/takingtheexam/preparing-for-exams/about-digital-submission This link walks you through the AP digital submission. (View this demo for more information about accessing the application.). Most questions about the digital submission can be answered here.
- 3. Then, check out the actual submission website and begin setting up your account: apstudio.ets.org/apstudioart/
- Teacher key: zzv4224
- School Code- 111992
- 4. In the time that you have left, begin making decisions on what you want for your 12 breadth pieces. Feel free to discuss these decisions with myself or your fellow AP students. You can upload these images onto the website now, or put them on your blog under: final images first and then upload them once you have made your final decisions.
- Note that on the digital submission website, there is a section for you to write the media used for each piece. You can also use this section to write a brief artist statement about your image if you feel that it needs one. (I highly encourage this for the "sustained investigation" section of the portfolio.
- 5. If you have fallen behind on updating your weebly blog, be sure to upload all your recent images and visual journals!
