For those of you who are new, or were out the last day we worked on the weebly blogs, you may want to check out my previous post here . It includes the list of what we previously needed to upload, some tips on taking photographs, as well as a short video on how to upload images to your website. If you need instructions on how to create your blog, download the file at the top of this post.
For today, you will need to take photographs of all your completed projects, sketchbooks, and completed altered books. For a complete list, see below:
On the "my art" page, you should have the following:
- Copper Repousse
- Geometric Form Study (value drawing)
- Superhero Talisman
- Photography Design
- Face Vessel (1st block)/ Styrofoam Cup sculpture (4th block)
- Scratchboard Portrait (1st block)/ Monochromatic Portrait (4th block)
- Any completed Altered Book pages. These should be grouped together in their own section at the bottom of this page.
- Line (Linear Collage/ Line design background)
- Value (tear from magazine/ black & white collage background)
- Form (Pop Up/ use of collage paper/ oil pastel background)
- Space (2 point perspective drawing/ one point design in background)
- Color (tissue paper ombre)
- Shape (text poem)
- Texture (texture collage using watercolor textures, paper towel, texture rubbings)
On the "sketchbook" page, you should have the following:
- Both sketchbook covers (front and back)
- We have completed 10 sketchbook assignments, you should upload your best 7 (below are your choices)
- hand holding an object
- shoe contour
- fantasy art
- notebook paper
- Steampunk
- State Fish Art contest entry
- 1 point perspective room
- With art I can... (mixed media artwork)
- Visual journal
- Anime or Manga
- Self Portrait
- Photograph practice sketches/ thumbnail sketches you have completed for this page also.
- For example:
- practice sketch of 2 point perspective
- practice superhero sketches
- practice visual journals
- thumbnail sketches for still life
