Some things to consider while you are watching...
- What is Ellen Gallagher's process?
- In her work of Isaac Hayes, has she changed it enough to avoid copyright infringement? Is it now her own work?
- Which series of her work that is shown in the video is your favorite/ why?
- Drawings or collaged images of that artist's work.
- A short written response of what you learned/ felt while studying that artist's work. Include how what you learned can impact your own work.
- Layers of media/ design using some of the techniques found on the "sketchbook" page of the Painting 1 website: http://kellhighschoolart.weebly.com/painting-sketchbook-assignments.html .
