Today, we are going to the lab to create you weebly blogs and be introduced to Pixlr.
First, download the file below with directions on how to create your own weebly blogs. Read the directions carefully, and be sure to ask Mrs. Denison for help.
Once you have read though the directions, you may want to see the video below for more help, and don't forget to click "publish" when you are done!!! (If you are having trouble seeing the video, click on this link.)
Once you have created your weebly blog, I have designed an assignment to familiarize you with the free online editing software, Pixlr. We will be looking at the photographs of Annie Leibovitz and colorizing them with our own color schemes.
Follow the step-by-step instructions in the word document below in order to colorize your own Annie Leibovitz photograph. Make sure you re-save the work using your name so you can keep the work you have done.
Please note, Pixlr doesn't work with google chrome.
IF YOU ALREADY TOOK A CLASS WITH MRS. DENISON:Check out the directions in the video below for how to turn your update your previous weebly blog to make it usable for this semester. Click on this link for a full screen version:
This class is a great precursor to taking AP Studio Art. Therefore, we will be on a similar schedule as the AP students who are working to create breadth projects this semester. Painting students will also have the opportunity to create a "mini-concentration" where they will get to create a series of 3 works of art of their own choice of style, media, and subject matter.
