Below is the information for the 2019 Georgia Watercolor Society Judy Greenberg HighSchool Senior Scholarship Exhibition.

The Georgia Watercolor Society is very pleased to offer the opportunity for public high school Graduating Seniors
(Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Clayton, Gwinnett and Henry Counties) who will pursue further studies in the visual arts, to enter the Twelfth Annual GWS Scholarship Exhibition.
Awards anticipated will total $2400 (gift certificates and cash awards). Thanks to Binders Art Supplies and Frames for hosting this exhibit and for their generous donations.
GWS must receive your entries by March 1, 2019.
All entries must be original (created by the student from personal photos or imagination) water media/watercolor (watercolor, inks, watercolor pencil, fluid acrylics) on paper or watercolor canvas, yupo, or clayboard, no larger than 22” by 30” image size. No copies (calendar, magazine art) will be accepted. Watercolor collage will be accepted if the collage has been painted by the artist. Pen and Ink and watercolor will also be accepted. Work accepted must be properly framed or matted and put in plastic sleeves (www.clearbags.com). Watercolor canvas does not have to be framed under glass. Using a wire is better than sawtooth hanger on the back of the frame.
To enter:
- Take a digital picture of your painting and save it in a computer file as a jpeg. One to two entries per student may be submitted.
- Crop the image so that the entire painting is visible without extraneous background or framing showing. The saved image should represent the painting exactly.
- Image size should be 5” by 7” at 300 dpi, submitted as a jpeg.

Artist’s name, address and phone number
Title of painting and size and medium
Artist’s email address
School name, address, County, and phone number
Where they plan to pursue additional Arts study, if known
Art Teacher’s name, email address and phone number
The utmost care will be taken in handling paintings, neither the GWS, its representatives, nor Binders will be responsible for damage or loss, whatever the cause.
