Create a "paper doll" by using junk mail or recycled items! Have fun!!
This assignment is something you can do at home using simple materials. We are going to be making a variation of a Collagraph print. A Collagraph is a basic method of printmaking using a board with collage materials glued onto it to form a relief surface with a variety of textures.
The image below was created by an 8th grade student using layered cardboard, then inked up and printed.
This artist, Bonnie Murray, created a collaged block with wallpaper, illustration board, and textured paper. She then inked up the block and hand-printed onto paper.

Follow the step-by-step instructions in the word document below in order to colorize your own Annie Leibovitz photograph. Make sure you re-save the work using your name so you can keep the work you have done. Please note, Pixlr doesn't work with google chrome.
Below is the checklist for our weebly blog. Be sure all images are cropped to view the entire image without extraneous background. No phone shadows should be visible and each image should have a title. All Blogs should be completed by May 15th. (May 10th for seniors)
Below is the checklist for the final altered book checklist. All altered books are due on May 15th. (seniors are due on May 10th.)
